Smooth Jazz Beach Radio.com Announced earlier today that the very successful smooth jazz internet station will be moving their station to San Francisco March of 2010. SJBR is most known for their Free Airplay & Free Promotions, and helping the independent smooth jazz artist getting started. "There are so many new indie smooth jazz artists that are on their way they just need the airplay to be discovered by the public and that's where I come in." Louis Simmons, owner went on to say that he hopes that every musician would be interested in having their own station and do the same.
An exact location has not yet been decided but will be announce on the first day of broadcast from San Francisco as a show opener for all of our new listeners from Northern California as well as world wide. The station will take a three week hiatus and return to the air starting in March with a brand new format to the station plus new playlists and most of all brand new smooth jazz artists.
When asked about how the market will be in Northern CA, Louis answered this: "I feel Smooth Jazz Beach Radio.com will be an added luxury to the very many already established stations in San Francisco as well as Northern CA. I hope to introduce the many artists our station plays to them as well and hope to see many more stations like mine start up. For instance you get an artist like Pete Gitlin who is an off the hook guitarist, does local gigs, promoting a new cd, and knows other musicians, this is the perfect tool for this artist, His own radio station." Louis concluded with," This move is going to be a successful challenge, The proof is in the passion!"
